Dear imagemaker360 Photographer:
We have prepared these pages to show you the common mistakes that occur on
virtual tour shooting. Avoiding these mistakes can keep you from the troubles of
re-shooting which would waste your precious time and money.
The Common Mistakes in Virtual Tour Shooting:
Note that digital cameras behave slightly different from traditional cameras.
In most situations, we recommend that you use the manual mode of the digital
camera settings when taking virtual tour photos. Relying on the automatic mode of
camera settings may ruin your reputation as a professional photographer.
Before you shoot, perform the following 3-step
check:
1. Set the focus to infinity,
2. Adjust exposure value to avoid dark photos,
3. Check the zoom setting to avoid an incomplete image.
After the shoot,
Review the photos you took. Re-shoot a photo if the photo appears dark,
blurred, or incomplete. This will save you the time and money it would take to make another trip
back there for a re-shoot. Your photos should look like the following example.
The image is clear and the whole donut is included in the photo.

A good quality photo must be created by a good lens. Always protect
the lens from damage. When the lens is damaged, please contact ImageMaker360 to
get a replacement lens.
We believe learning from others' mistakes is a quick way to improve one's
professionalism. We hope the above examples are useful for your
next virtual tour photo shoot.
Sincerely yours,
imagemaker360 Photo Process Team
