A Yin-Yang image means a half-dark and half-bright image. This is a variation
of a dark image and related to the source of light. The cause of a Yin-Yang image
usually is
1. The selected shooting spot is the connection point of both bright and dim areas,
such as under a doorway. When the digital camera adjusts to the bright source of light, it makes the
dim area become darker.
Solution: Avoid taking virtual tour
images at places
connecting both bright and dark areas such as under a door way or tree shade. If
taking photos in these places cannot be avoided, then set
the camera in manual mode and adjust the aperture and exposure value (EV) to reduce
this problem. Increasing the illumination of the dark area may also help prevent
this problem.
